Dr. Tarik Saddik, a consultant ophthalmic surgeon, brings extensive expertise in general ophthalmology and specialized focus in medical retina, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vascular diseases. With a rich background spanning Ireland, UK, and UAE, he obtained his medical degree from a Libyan medical college. Dr. Saddik holds the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ophthalmology, Dublin, Ireland (FRCSI) since 2003. His comprehensive ophthalmic training was conducted at prestigious institutions such as the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, UK, and the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Dublin, Ireland, where he completed two medical retina fellowships. Throughout his 25-year career, Dr. Saddik has served as a consultant in both the UK and Ireland, specializing in cataract surgery and medical and surgical retinal diseases, including various retinal laser procedures. He is an active lecturer at national and international conferences and is affiliated with multiple professional organizations, including the Irish College of Ophthalmologists. Dr. Tarik Saddik is fluent in both Arabic and English.
