Dr. Maroun El Khoury is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Oncologist/Hematologist at American Hospital in Dubai since September 2010. He served as the Director of the Cancer Care Center and President of the Medical Staff at Mayo Clinic Network (JCI Accredited) from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, he was the Chairperson of the Scientific Committee at the Emirates Oncology Society from 2018 to 2020. Prior to his current position, he practiced privately in the US/Iowa from July 2006 to August 2010, where he served as the Medical Director of Oncology and Hematology Services and Chief of Medicine at Great River Health System. Dr. El Khoury also held the position of Hospice Medical Co-Director during this time and was a trainer for EPEC (Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care).
